Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is an industry leader in providing high-quality home care services to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living. We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced Caregivers to join our growing team serving clients throughout the Tustin & Orange areas.
We are currently hiring both English and Cantonese-speaking caregivers.
Summary
As an In-Home Caregiver with Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care, you will play a vital role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We are looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities while ensuring their safety.
- Provide medication reminders and basic health monitoring as appropriate.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve clients' quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team in both Cantonese and English.
- Maintain accurate communication regarding client care and any changes in condition.
Minimum Requirements
- Fluent in Cantonese and English (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
- Valid California Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Current negative TB test
- Ability to pass a California State Background Check
- Willingness to travel throughout our service area
- Ability to safely assist with lifting and transferring clients when necessary
- Flexible availability to meet client scheduling needs
