A learning center in Corona, Queens is seeking for a dedicated and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young children. Duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of daily lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support literacy and math education through interactive activities and hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Participate in curriculum development initiatives to enhance educational offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.
Skills
- Ability to communicate with students and parents in Spanish is a plus.
