Innkeeper's Suite
The Live-In Innkeeper position at the Keystone Inn includes a comfortable private Innkeepers Suite connected to the Inn’s gourmet kitchen. The suite features a private bedroom, living room, and full bath, offering both convenience and privacy. French doors open to a private outdoor space, creating a peaceful area to relax and unwind after the day’s work.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary and welcoming customer service to all guests and visitors.
- Respond promptly to all guest inquiries about overnight accommodations and encourage guests to make reservations.
- Participate in property daily operations, including general cleaning, guest room cleaning, laundry, and seasonal design projects.
- Prepare and present fresh, local, seasonal menu options for breakfast and personalized on-site celebrations, taking into account guests' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Identify and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and special projects as requested by management.
- Manage vendors, including groundskeeping, electricians, handy people, plumbers, and suppliers.
- Maintain a calendar of events and a property management system, and prepare accurate forecasts for sales, marketing, and food and beverage.
- Gather, record, and submit, as instructed, all financial data related to income.
- Understand and work toward achieving all business objectives created by the owners and reviewed monthly.
- Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the Innkeeper.
- Comply with all Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board rules and regulations as they might apply to this property.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or hotel management settings
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management and guest services
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in small boutique hotel management or bed and breakfast operations with an understanding of reception procedures
- Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and share responsiblities with staff
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team and maintain high standards of service
- Familiarity with reservation systems, phone etiquette, and guest relations best practices

Pay: $35,500.00 - $38,000.00 per year
