Position Summary:
The Project Engineer focuses on the design and customization of products and systems in accordance with approved customer quote specifications for our wastewater projects. Working closely with project management, process engineering, and other departments, the Project Engineer is required to insure all engineering and design deliverables are completed in accordance with customer specifications and on time while upholding the budget and highest quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create project files out of technical proposals as developed by process engineers
- Prepare booklets and engineering design projects for presentations & Operations & Maintenance manuals

Working with outside vendors getting quotes for sales team

Working with fulfillment team in building submittal packages for projects

Process and review shop drawings

Invoice verification and inventory analysis

Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations

Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required):

Bachelor’s degree in a field of Engineering

Mechanical engineering, product design, project engineering & project management experience preferred

Experience with 2D & 3D CAD (AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks)

Experience with ‘engineer to order’ design of products, equipment, or systems in an OEM environment

Ability to perform engineering calculations a plus

**PC literate including Microsoft office software package
