We are seeking a talented and energetic Manicurist and Nail Technician to join our dynamic beauty team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, and nail extensions with precision and artistry
- Apply acrylic nails, nail extensions, and other enhancements following industry best practices
- Conduct esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser treatments as needed
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure client safety
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized nail care solutions
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Stay updated on current trends in nail art, color theory, and new techniques to continually elevate service quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician within the beauty industry
- Certification in cosmetology or related field required; additional training in esthetic laser treatment or hair styling is a plus
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols
- Skilled in nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and cuticle care
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of retail math for upselling products effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
