Position Type: Part-Time, Contract
Schedule: Approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Compensation: $40.00–$45.00 per hour

Job description:
Sonoran Schools is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to join our team as an for the 2026–2027 school year.
This role supports our Phoenix, Chandler, and Virtual Academy campuses and is ideal for an experienced SLP-A seeking flexibility and a strong work-life balance. This position includes direct therapy with school aged students K-12. Caseload includes students with articulation, language, phonological, and pragmatic language needs. Appropriate supervision by CCC-SLP will be provided in accordance with ASHA guidelines.
The SLP-A will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students meet their communication goals and ensure services are delivered with consistency and care.
Please note: Remote-only contractors will not be considered.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Collect and document student progress data
- Support IEP compliance and accurate service tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate
- Maintain professional and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Active SLP-A license
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in speech-language or similar program
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively between 2 physical campuses
