Position Summary:
This job involves a specialized focus as an HVAC Service Technician, meaning you will be primarily responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in existing buildings. Your work will include diagnosing and servicing a wide variety of units, such as air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, ductless systems, and water heaters, along with repairing or replacing their key components like electric motors, compressors, and heat pumps. You'll also handle comprehensive preventative maintenance on these systems, which includes servicing related equipment like intake fans, humidifiers, and RTUs (Rooftop Units), ensuring the entire system continues to operate safely and efficiently as a seamless, high-performance unit.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with current HVAC equipment, including light commercial
- Hold a valid driver license.
- Maintain an insurable driving record.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Able to communicate with customers.
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces & in all types of weather.
