Job Description
NDi is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Systems Analyst to support enterprise technology modernization initiatives for Federal customers. This role partners with Federal stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to analyze mission requirements, assess enterprise environments, identify risks, and develop actionable technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness and reduce risk.
The Enterprise Systems Analyst translates business and technical requirements into secure, scalable solutions; develops modernization roadmaps; produces system design documentation, technical assessments, architecture diagrams, Visio-based process flows, test plans, and executive briefings; and supports implementation throughout the system lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing, enterprise systems knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

QualificationsRequired Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or additional technical certifications preferred.

8+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems, modernization initiatives, or large-scale technology programs.

Proven experience supporting Federal customers or highly regulated enterprise environments.

Demonstrated expertise in technical writing and development of enterprise technology documentation, including:

Experience developing and presenting executive briefings, risk assessments, technical recommendations, and remediation plans to senior stakeholders.

Ability to identify technical and operational risks and develop practical mitigation and remediation strategies.

Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation.

Strong understanding of enterprise systems, cloud services, infrastructure, networking, virtualization, enterprise applications, and systems integration.

Experience supporting enterprise architecture, cloud migration strategies, and modernization methodologies.

Experience managing technical documentation and project artifacts throughout the system lifecycle.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.

Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting mission-critical Federal enterprise environments.

Familiarity with ITIL 4, Agile, DevSecOps, and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.

Experience developing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and technology investment recommendations.

Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL 4 Foundation, and CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

Enterprise StrategyModernization:

Partner with business and Federal stakeholders to understand mission requirements, operational objectives, and strategic priorities.

Define, shape, and lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives from concept through implementation.

Evaluate competing demands and guide stakeholders in prioritizing initiatives based on business value, mission impact, risk reduction, and cost efficiency.

Conduct technology assessments and recommend best-fit technologies, frameworks, and tools to support future growth and innovation.

Develop modernization roadmaps for infrastructure, applications, and enterprise services.
Solution ArchitectureDesign:

Design scalable, secure, and efficient end-to-end solutions that align with business requirements and technology standards.

Architect and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.

Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve performance, resilience, and user experience.

Ensure all solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Operations Leadership:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.

Monitor system performance and direct tuning efforts to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex hardware, software, and network issues.

Guide disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Participate in lifecycle planning, technology refreshes, and system upgrades.
Stakeholder ManagementLeadership:

Serve as a trusted advisor to Federal leadership, influencing technology investment decisions and modernization priorities.

Translate complex technical concepts into clear business impacts for technical and non-technical audiences.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering, operations, and program teams.

Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of enterprise initiatives.
GovernanceDocumentation:

Ensure creation and maintenance of technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Promote adherence to enterprise standards, governance processes, and operational best practices.

Implement and oversee security measures to safeguard systems and organizational data.
