We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring prompt service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during serving and cashiering duties.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving meals at tables or during banquets and catering events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining experience.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Demonstrated expertise in cocktail preparation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations.
- Experience with banquet service or catering is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a lively hospitality environment.
