Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage the daily food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Supervise and direct the dietary team, including cooks, servers, and nutrition aides
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Conduct regular inventory management and food cost control measures
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure resident dietary needs are met and preferences are considered
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
Dietary Manager is responsible for performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 1 years of experience in a dietary management role, preferably in a long-term care setting
High school diploma or equivalent required; Level of Education not specified
Possess a valid food handler's certification or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
