GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in an industrial environment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, walls, and ceilings in industrial settings.

Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and workspaces according to established protocols and safety guidelines.

Dispose of waste materials in designated containers and ensure proper recycling procedures are followed.

Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages on equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Follow safety procedures and use protective gear, such as gloves and masks, when handling hazardous materials or operating heavy machinery.

Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental compliance.

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in industrial cleaning or related field preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to clean various surfaces and equipment.

Extended periods of standing and walking while performing cleaning tasks.

Use of hand tools and cleaning equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination.

Tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals and strong odors while following proper safety precautions.
