DEMAND PLANNER MANAGER, NORTH AMERICA (USA, CA & MX)
The Demand Planner Manager, North America, is responsible for aligning product availability with anticipated demand across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This role involves analyzing sales trends, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and delivering accurate, data-driven demand forecasts to support commercial and operational planning. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of merchandising, supply chain dynamics, and cross-functional communication.
FUNCTIONS:
Demand Forecasting
- Develop bottom-up annual sell-in plans for key retail partners aligned with marketing calendars and activations.
- Maintain a 12-month rolling forecast for core products, adjusting based on trends, promotions, and merchandising changes.
- Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and sales estimates; continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- Participate in monthly forecast reviews with the global team.
- Oversee importation planning based on priorities and processes.
- Quantify forecasts for new product launches using historical data, marketing plans, and merchandising strategies.
- Lead forecasting for gratis and sampling programs.
Sales Analysis & Trend Interpretation
- Retrieve and consolidate weekly sales data from sources such as Power BI and retailer portals.
- Analyze campaign performance, product newness, and virality to identify key sales drivers.
- Build and maintain historical sales data for core products, report trends vs. last year and budget at SKU and collection levels.
- Monitor seasonal product sell-through and project end-of-season performance.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to gather field insights and contextualize data.
- Prepare and present concise weekly sales analyses to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Generate ad hoc sales reports based on business needs.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels across local warehouses for all product categories (retail, testers, backbar, samples).
- Achieve and maintain company’s KPIs : stock value, average Weeks of Supply (WOS) and number of SKUs.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Minimize obsolete and excess stock; track returns to vendors (RTV) from key retail partners.
- Partner with warehouse teams on inventory adjustments, transfers, and kitting processes.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
QUALIFCATIONS & SKILLS:
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning or merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with ERP systems (preferably Navision).

Work Hours & Location
- Reports to the VP of Merchandising, Americas.
- Available to work Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Work location is in the corporate office located in New York City (Flatiron District area).
- Hybrid work schedule New York Office/remote defined by management.
