Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including but not limited to engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Use various tools and equipment to complete repairs, such as wrenches, sockets, diagnostic scanners, and soldering equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle maintenance.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician in an automotive or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Experience with tire service, including mounting, balancing, and repair.
- Welding experience is a plus.
