Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and bussing tables to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Maintain excellent guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential
- Proven skills in customer service, upselling, and guest relations are required to excel in this role
- Experience working in a nightclub or hospitality setting is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
