We are a small private dental office looking for a good dental hygienist to help us maintain patient smiles. This is a part time position for 2-3 days every other week with the possibility of splitting the schedule with another private dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Take detailed medical/dental histories and perform client intake forms
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures like cavity preparations, cleaning and polishing teeth. Must be willing to take x-rays and set up/break down rooms
- Help with sterilization if needed
- Handle instruments and equipment properly to ensure patient safety at all times
- Maintain dentist's schedule by reminding patients of upcoming appointments, answering phones, scheduling appointments., etc.
