We are looking for a Facilities Technician to play a key role to provide state-of-the-art, clean facilities that ensure a safe welcoming environment for all. We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-driven individual. This person should not be afraid of a challenge and must have the grit to adapt and overcome to solve new problems. Our facilities department participates heavily in construction and remodeling of new spaces. We coordinate the design, construction and setup of office spaces, workout areas, and member amenities. We repair and maintain all fitness and building systems across multiple locations.
What you would do:
Under supervision you would be responsible for R&M over two locations.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly walkthroughs to identify the safety and function of all equipment and building spaces.
Repair and maintain pools and spas.
Take requests from members, staff and supervisors, maintain an electronic maintenance log and prioritize requests accordingly.
This applicant must take pride in a job well done and be self-motivated to identify current and potential issues for an expedient response.
This person also participates in projects, remodels and new construction helping to create opportunities for growth.
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building systems repair.
HVAC filter and coil cleaning, along with minor maintenance and troubleshooting abilities.
Minimum 3+ years of pool and spa care experience:
Chemical testing, chemical balancing, automation monitoring, operation and system repairs.
CPO Certification is a plusFitness equipment repair experience is a plusAble to read plans, assembly breakdowns, instructions and flow charts.
Must have clear communication skills Proficient with computers,
Microsoft operating systems, Word, and Excel
Basic computer repair/IT support is a plus
Must be willing to share on-call duties and work weekends and or nights if projects require it.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, climb and lift and carry 50 lbs
Must have own hand tools and experience with power tools
Must have a valid WA driver's license and reliable transportation
Benefits offered:
Hourly pay: $27.00–$32.00 DOE
