We're seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused Scaffold Foreman to lead scaffold operations for offshore construction, maintenance, and industrial service projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising scaffold crews and ensuring the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffold systems in offshore environments. The ideal candidate will have strong scaffold-building experience, proven leadership skills, a thorough understanding of offshore safety requirements, and a commitment to quality and operational excellence. TWIC Card required. Basic Plus Safety Orientation preferred/required as applicable to the project. Offshore survival/safety certifications and other customer-required credentials preferred/required as applicable to the project.

Supervise and lead scaffold crews in the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffold systems for offshore construction and maintenance activities.

Plan daily scaffold activities, assign work to crew members, and coordinate manpower and materials to meet project schedules and customer requirements.

Review scaffold drawings, plans, work packs, permits, and job specifications to ensure work is performed correctly and safely.

Ensure scaffold systems are erected and modified in accordance with applicable OSHA regulations, company procedures, project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and customer standards.

Conduct or oversee scaffold inspections and ensure scaffolds are properly tagged, identified, and safe for use before being released to personnel.

Verify scaffold components, including tubes, clamps, frames, braces, platforms, guardrails, ladders, stairs, and access systems, are in good condition and suitable for use.

Coordinate the movement, staging, loading, unloading, and organization of scaffold materials throughout the offshore worksite.

Ensure proper material handling and rigging practices are followed when moving scaffold materials by crane, personnel, or other approved methods.

Work closely with offshore supervision, project management, safety personnel, other trades, and the customer to coordinate scaffold requirements and resolve field issues.

Monitor crew performance and provide direction, coaching, and training to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Conduct daily toolbox talks and participate in required safety meetings, pre-job planning, JSA/JHA reviews, and permit-to-work activities.

Identify and correct unsafe conditions, hazards, and deficiencies before work proceeds.

Ensure all crew members properly use required PPE and comply with offshore safety, environmental, and site-specific requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation related to scaffold inspections, manpower, materials, daily activities, and project requirements as assigned.

Maintain clean, orderly work areas and ensure scaffold components are properly stored and secured.

Promote a strong safety culture and stop work when unsafe conditions or practices are identified.

Perform other duties related to offshore scaffold operations as assigned by Offshore Management or Project Supervision.

Minimum of 5 years of scaffold construction experience, with demonstrated experience leading or supervising scaffold crews preferred.

Previous experience as a Scaffold Foreman, Scaffold Leadman, Scaffold Supervisor, or Senior Scaffold Builder preferred.

Offshore scaffold experience strongly preferred.

Thorough knowledge of scaffold systems, components, erection methods, modification requirements, and dismantling practices.

Working knowledge of applicable OSHA scaffold requirements, offshore safety standards, and customer-specific procedures.

Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, work packs, specifications, and job instructions.

Ability to plan scaffold work, determine manpower and material requirements, and coordinate multiple work activities.

Strong understanding of scaffold access, fall protection, guardrail systems, platforms, bracing, tie-ins, and safe working-at-height practices.

Experience working around cranes, rigging operations, suspended loads, and other offshore material-handling activities preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with crew members, supervision, customers, and other trades.

Strong leadership, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in challenging offshore environments and varying weather conditions.

Ability to lift and handle scaffold materials and perform physically demanding work as required.

Must be willing and able to work extended shifts, rotational schedules, and overtime as required by the project.

Must be willing to travel and work offshore for extended periods.

Must maintain all required offshore certifications and site-specific training.
