Job Title: Cabinetry Designer

Position Summary
The Cabinetry Designer will work closely with the Director of Design to create detailed cabinetry drawings, assist with layout planning on job sites, and collaborate with clients to discuss design options. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in design software to ensure high-quality projects. The Cabinetry Designer will also coordinate with product engineers to maintain design integrity and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed cabinetry drawings using Mosaic software, 2020 Design, and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss design options, materials, and finishes.
- Support the Director of Design in all aspects of project execution.
- Work closely with product engineers on all custom projects to ensure designs meet quality and structural standards.
- Maintain organized project documentation and adhere to timelines.
- Assist in planning and laying out cabinetry on job sites.
- Ordering or assisting in ordering all manufactured cabinetry lines as well as designing within the parameters of manufactured product offering.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices.
- Maintain showroom space samples to stay organized and up to date with offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven 3+ years experience in cabinetry design or related field.
- Proficiency in Mosaic software, 2020 Design and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project needs.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
- Experience in custom cabinetry design.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
Pay: $58,225.08 - $70,120.52 per year
