Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced person to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food service, culinary arts, and kitchen operations. This role involves preparing and serving meals, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service within a dynamic dining environment. The applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering high-quality food experiences to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble meals according to menu specifications, including meal planning and food presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, cooking, and plating using proper knife skills and culinary techniques
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all kitchen activities
- Serve food to guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer service
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Support catering events by preparing and serving large quantities of food as needed
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Clean serving dishes and preparing utensils
- Prepping and stocking inventory.
- Cleaning kitchen, bathroom and parts of the bar at close.
Requirements
- MUST have weekend availability
- Background in food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Must be able to work alone and stay organized and on task
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in the food industry or culinary field is needed
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards teamwork and customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
