What to Expect
The Site Superintendent will work closely with members of the Construction Management, Design Engineering, Facility Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facility Operation, and Production Operation departments from planning, through installation and the start of production. As part of the EPC group, this team is focused on designing, collaborating, and building many industry-changing infrastructure while supporting critical vehicle and AI programs with primary focus on site development and ground-up infrastructure. This team-member will supervise all on-site construction including scheduling of trade contractors, hosting daily coordination meetings, resolving day-to-day construction issues, performing day-to-day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule. They will also be responsible to ensure the quality of the work being performed by contractors or team members in the field.
What You'll Do-
Manage all on-site construction activities for scope of responsibility

Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel, and Project Manager

Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to management

Develop and communicate logistics and other operational plans necessary, including Quality Assurance Inspections

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and OSHA regulations

Perform daily and weekly site progress reports

Maintain an organized, clean, & safe job site. Including contractor trailers, fabrication areas, and stored materials/equipment
What You'll Bring-
10+ years of construction experience in Civil work - Site Development, earthwork, underground utilities, shoring systems, ground improvements, foundations, & pavement, roadways

Previous experience as a Superintendent on industrial facility construction, Brownfield construction, building renovation or tenant improvement project(s) is a plus

Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals

OSHA 30 certification, current First Aid and CPR Certification, or be willing to be certified

Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and environmental regulations including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and general Stormwater Management practices

Understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback prior to and during construction

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite products, office email system, scheduling tool knowledge
