Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects precisely.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform drain cleaning using manual or motorized augers and other specialized equipment to clear blockages.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and modifying existing systems as needed.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair.
- Knowledge of construction plumbing, residential plumbing, and commercial plumbing systems.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Experience with plumbing inspection cameras, blueprint reading, pipe threading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about work performed.
- Hands-on experience with water systems maintenance, drain cleaning methods, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards related to plumbing work.
