Job Title: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Location: Morningstar Residential Care Center – Oswego, New York
Pay: $124,000 - $125,000 annually
Schedule: Full Time
Summary:
Morningstar Residential Care Center, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and facility operations
Manage budgets and financial resources, ensuring effective allocation of resources
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies for quality improvement and patient satisfaction
Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports, documentation, and records
Manage and develop a team of nursing and support staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure effective performance
Qualifications:
Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of New York.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and long-term care reimbursement systems.
Demonstrated success in operational management, budgeting, and team leadership.
Experience improving quality measures, occupancy, and financial performance.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
