What you’ll do
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Execute repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance services to keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs, ensuring precision and quality in every job.
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Lincoln/Ford vehicle repair techniques.
- Experience with welding and auto estimating processes.
- Ability to perform vehicle alignments and understand complex automotive schematics.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with staff and clients.
