Protect Steel, a well-established metal manufacturing company, is currently hiring for the position of In-House Manufacturing Representative at our Billings store.
The Position:
We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The offered pay range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience (DOE).
Key Qualifications:
- Physical strength to regularly lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 80lbs.
- Ability to maintain stamina and coordination in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Skill in operating power tools.
- Basic computer literacy.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to operate machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively operate a range of production equipment, such as brakes, shears, and presses.
- Operate forklift equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Construct wooden crates and pallets for shipping purposes.
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as required.
- Receive and handle customer paperwork, ensuring each project is completed safely, accurately, and within the specified timeframe.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies, promptly reporting any instances of unsafe operations or injuries to the supervisor.
