What You’ll Do:
- Safely drive a Class A or B truck to deliver plants and fruit across the Mid-Atlantic
- Run primarily regional routes (VA, MD, DC, PA, WV, NC)
- Majority of loads deliver across Virginia, Washington DC, and Baltimore areas.
- Secure and unload freight using provided equipment (carts, straps, pallet jacks, load bars)
- Operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and complete delivery documentation
- Maintain assigned truck and ensure DOT compliance
- Backhaul empty Saunders Brothers carts from customers
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Class A CDL (or ability to transfer to VA)
- Safe driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and assist with freight handling
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Comfortable with early morning start times
- Willingness for occasional overnight trips

Schedule & Work Environment
- Early morning departures based on delivery schedules
- Most routes allow for returning home the same day
- Occasional overnight trips required
- Additional on-farm work available during lighter delivery periods
Supervisor: This position will answer directly to the Shipping Manager.
