Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strong background in construction to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction scheduling, cost management, and regulatory compliance will drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs with HeavyBid and other estimating tools, ensuring financial targets are met while controlling expenses.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to guarantee accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate construction schedule activities across multiple teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and local permitting requirements.
- Lead project meetings, communicate progress updates effectively to stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Manage project documentation including reports, logs, change orders, and compliance records for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects within civil or commercial infrastructure sectors.
- Strong proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Construction management software.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies.
- Hands-on experience with construction scheduling, site coordination, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, permits, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Construction site experience is essential; prior roles should include managing budgets and schedules for commercial or heavy civil projects.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), OSHA safety certifications or relevant technical licenses are preferred but not mandatory.
