Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of showers, mirrors, glass panels, doors, and fixtures according to construction plans and technical drawings.
Handle glass materials carefully, ensuring safe transportation and precise placement during installation.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, trim, and secure fixtures while adhering to safety standards.
Measure dimensions accurately for quality control, ensuring all installations meet specified measurements and standards.
Read blueprints and construction plans to interpret technical drawings for proper fixture placement.
Support fabrication tasks such as cutting or customizing glass or trim components as needed.
Help with caulking, sealing, and finishing touches to ensure a professional, leak-proof installation.
Assist with general remodeling tasks including cabinet hanging, door installation, and fixture setup on construction sites.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials throughout each project.
Skills
Strong understanding of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
Experience handling glass materials safely during transportation and installation processes.
Knowledge of window installation, door hanging, trim carpentry, and fixture setup within remodeling projects.
Ability to accurately take dimensional measurements for quality control purposes.
Construction site experience with a focus on glass installation or bathroom remodeling preferred.
Basic handyman skills including caulking, cabinet installation, and general repair work.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
