Duties
- Supervise the front desk operations and ensure smooth daily operations
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy of information
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage reservations and room assignments effectively
- Conduct night audits to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Assist with training front desk staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems (e.g., property management systems)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, overnight, and holidays
