We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier or cook to join our team. The ideal cashier candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle cash, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain a positive experience.
The ideal cook candidate will be responsible for cooking, preparing, and stocking food. Cleaning, washing dishes, and working together as a team.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring product availability.
- Communicate promotions and menu information to customers effectively.
- Supervise junior staff when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proficient in basic math skills to ensure accurate transactions.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment is desirable but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
