Accounts Payable – Murray Plumbing | San Antonio, TX
Murray Plumbing is a growing residential construction plumbing company serving the San Antonio metro area. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our team and take ownership of our vendor payment processes from start to finish.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for keeping our AP function running accurately and on time — processing invoices, running weekly payment cycles, handling contractor payroll, and reconciling credit card statements. Day to day, that means verifying and posting invoices and vendor statements, maintaining organized vendor files (including W-9s and payment terms), monitoring aging payables, and responding to vendor and internal inquiries. You'll also play a role in identifying process improvements and flagging issues before they become problems.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting support role
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines
- Comfortable working with accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop experience a plus)
- Able to communicate clearly with vendors and internal team members
- Organized, reliable, and proactive about flagging issues early
Compensation & Details
- $42,000 – $52,000 annually, based on experience
- Full-time, in-office position based in San Antonio, TX
- Reports to accounting manager
