- Prepare and process outgoing metered mail by verifying mailing dates, postage, addresses, and barcode quality before production.
- Inspect mail pieces for accuracy and identify damaged, unreadable, or incorrect barcodes.
- Communicate mailing errors, quality issues, and production concerns to appropriate team members.
- Operate mail processing equipment and safely troubleshoot or clear mail jams as needed.
- Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards in a fast-paced production environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and complete additional mailroom or production tasks as assigned.
- Ability to understand and follow safety instructions, work procedures, and operational directions communicated in English.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify mailing, postage, and barcode errors.
- Dependable and reliable with a strong attendance record.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts with little to no advance notice.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for up to 80% of the workday in a production or mail processing environment.
