Beggs High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Math Teacher to teach upper-level mathematics courses, including Algebra II and beyond. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented educator who prioritizes student learning, demonstrates strong classroom management skills, and maintains a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and work ethic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach upper-level high school math courses, including Algebra II and potentially Geometry, Pre-Calculus, or other advanced math classes

Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners

Use a variety of instructional strategies to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Assess and monitor student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed

Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior

Establish and enforce clear classroom expectations to ensure a positive and productive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to improve student outcomes

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders

Participate in professional development and school activities as required
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Valid state teaching certification in Mathematics (or ability to obtain)

Strong content knowledge in Algebra II and higher-level mathematics

Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively
