Commercial Electrician – Federal Projects (Prevailing Wage)
We are seeking highly skilled and dependable Commercial Electricians to join our team on federal government construction projects. This position offers prevailing wage pay, steady work, and the opportunity to work on secure, high-profile facilities.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
Install conduit, wire, cable trays, lighting, switchgear, panels, and electrical equipment.
Perform work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and project specifications.
Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
Follow all OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of commercial electrical experience.
Extensive experience with commercial electrical installations, renovations, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Security Requirements
This position supports federal government construction projects. Applicants must be able to successfully pass a high-level federal background investigation. Employment is contingent upon meeting all security clearance and site access requirements.
