Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Plywood Millwright to join our manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in plywood production. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Duties
- Install, align, and assemble machinery and mechanical systems according to schematics, technical manuals, and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment including hydraulics, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts using welding (including <LOCATION> welding), cutting tools, and other mechanical techniques.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with industrial maintenance responsibilities.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Experience with welding techniques specific to <LOCATION> welding processes; familiarity with industrial welding safety practices.
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly.
