Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service and Kennel Attendant to join our pet care team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, caring for animals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for pets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong communication skills, and experience in pet handling and animal care. Duties
- Greet clients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures for pets
- Provide attentive pet care, including feeding, administering medications, and monitoring health status
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing information about services and pet needs
- Heavy lifting of supplies or animals may be required to ensure smooth daily operations
- Keep detailed records of pet care activities and communicate any concerns to the rest of your team and clients.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in veterinary assisting, kennel work, or pet grooming is preferred
- Knowledge of dog training, animal handling, and restraint techniques is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to handle animals gently yet confidently, ensuring safety for both pets and staff
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity required for kennel maintenance and animal care tasks
- Passionate about animal welfare with a caring attitude toward pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Reliable team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
