Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic telehealth mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide counseling services and behavioral health support to patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI), concussions, and related mental health conditions within a virtual care setting. Your expertise will help patients navigate the emotional, cognitive, and psychological challenges associated with injury recovery while developing effective coping strategies and achieving their wellness goals.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, intake interviews, and clinical screenings to inform individualized treatment planning.
- Provide individual counseling services utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed interventions, behavioral health strategies, and psychotherapy tailored to patient needs.
- Deliver specialized care to patients experiencing psychological and emotional symptoms related to traumatic brain injuries (TBI), concussions, chronic pain, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and personal injury-related conditions.
- Manage crisis situations effectively using appropriate crisis intervention techniques while ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary providers, rehabilitation specialists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans and monitor treatment progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, professional standards, and ICD-10 coding requirements.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, case collaboration discussions, and ongoing clinical development activities to support alignment, teamwork, and quality patient care.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture through open communication, professionalism, and active participation in team initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing.
- Multi-state licensure preferred. Must be licensed in TX.
- Experience providing telehealth counseling services preferred.
- Experience treating patients with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, TBI, concussion-related conditions, and personal injury populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Strong documentation and clinical reporting skills with familiarity in HIPAA compliance and ICD-10 standards preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
