American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of acute care ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and CPI certification in a multidisciplinary critical care setting.

13-week contract at a hospital-based ICU
-
Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Technology utilized includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps

Cerner EMR experience required

Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI (must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course)

Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience in a US hospital required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Provides comprehensive patient care to a diverse critical care population, including operating and monitoring advanced life-support and hemodynamic equipment
