We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse Lead to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. This role is vital in ensuring efficient supply chain management, optimizing inventory control, and supporting a high-performing team to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Reports to Sales/Distribution Manager, in coordination with the Production Manager, to oversee warehouse operations.
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment
- Oversee transportation planning and freight management with our Partner Brands, coordinating product deliveries/pick-ups with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement process improvements utilizing efficient principles and process management techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Utilize our current software to monitor performance metrics and optimize workflows.
- Control costs related to warehouse operations.
- Coordinate procurement activities including purchasing, materials management, and vendor relations to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, transportation regulations, and company policies across all distribution activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control, supply & demand planning, production planning, and overall supply chain management.
- Oversee fleet management including forklift operations/training, transportation systems, and dispatching to maximize efficiency.
- Keeping our dock/coolers/warehouse clean, efficient and organized
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in supply chain analytics, inventory control, freight forwarding, procurement, and demand planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement projects using continuous improvement frameworks.
- Familiarity with transportation planning tools, fleet management practices, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support teams with high standards and positive attitude while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.
