Duties
- Assist experienced plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly on construction sites
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support accurate plumbing system setup
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively
- Maintain compliance with building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards during all tasks
- Support plumbing system maintenance, repair, and remodeling projects to ensure optimal operation
- Participate in field service activities including troubleshooting, repairs, and routine inspections
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Skills
- Construction experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades
- Knowledge of construction plumbing systems and pipe installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, welding, and assembly processes
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data
- Strong understanding of building code compliance and safety protocols in construction settings
- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions
- Experience with plumbing system maintenance, repair, remodeling projects, and field service operations
- Familiarity with safety standards related to power tool use, pipe threading equipment, welding safety, and general site safety practices
Additional Information
- Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7AM-5:30PM (4x10). Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
