ELITE PSYCHOLOGY AND WELLNESS LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH & SPORTS PERFORMANCE THERAPIST
Elite Psychology and Wellness is a mental health private practice located in Scottsdale, AZ. We are a collaborative team of clinicians who are dedicated to helping our clients find the strength to begin their journey towards greater contentment and well-being. We are a general mental health practice with a specialty niche in sports performance psychology. Our mission is to create a therapeutic setting that is supportive, encourages positivity and cultivates growth.
We are currently seeking a full-time licensed mental health and sports performance therapist to join our practice. We offer a variety of services from therapy for children, adolescents, and adults to sports and career performance. We are looking for clinicians that have a mental health associate or independent license that have sports performance education and background to support our athlete population.
All clients will be provided to the clinician and billing is completed by the practice. We are looking for therapists who enjoy working with all populations to join our team.
Ideal Candidates will have:
● Experience working with both adolescents, children and adults
● Experience working with athletes in the counseling and sports performance setting
● Experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, relationship and career concerns, trauma, eating disorders and overall mental health and well-being challenges, sports performance
● Experience in sports performance & sports psychology counseling preferred
● Experience providing therapy in a mental health clinic or private practice setting
● Ability to work during afternoon/evening and weekend hours
Qualifications:
● A valid Arizona LPC,LAC, LCSW, LMSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
● Master’s Degree that leads to counseling licensure is required
● Provisionally or independent licensed clinicians can apply
● A minimum of 2 years of private practice or mental health clinic experience is preferable
● Ability to maintain proper, prompt and efficient communication.
● Have knowledge of electronic health record system and documentation or willingness to learn and maintain record keeping and clinical documentation in a timely manner.
● Demonstrate independence and efficiency. Passion and pride for clinical work, a positive attitude, and loyalty towards the practice.
