Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Bilingual Construction Foreman to lead and manage construction projects with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide team activities and verify work accuracy.
- Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Primavera; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Review construction drawings and schematics thoroughly to ensure proper implementation during the build process.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project contracts.
- Conduct quality control inspections to uphold safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety regulations.
- Utilize tools like Ohmmeters for electrical testing and oversee construction site safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including cost estimating using HeavyBid or similar software, ensuring projects stay within financial targets.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs through construction management software such as Bluebeam.
- Supervise the review of technical drawings and schematics; interpret blueprints accurately for on-site execution.
- Lead construction schedule coordination efforts to align project milestones with overall timelines; manage adjustments proactively.
- Foster effective communication among team members by providing bilingual support in English and Spanish to ensure clarity across diverse teams.
- Enforce adherence to federal safety regulations and conduct regular site safety meetings; ensure all team members are trained on OSHA standards.
- Monitor progress regularly through site visits, ensuring work aligns with project plans while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising construction sites with a strong background in heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for effective communication across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability managing teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project planning, budgeting, and cost estimating processes.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematical diagrams accurately.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; experience conducting safety audits on-site.
- Ability to read electrical schematics; experience using tools like Ohmmeters for electrical testing is preferred.
- Previous experience reviewing contracts and managing subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
