DE LIHEAP Program Coordinator
Reports To: DE LIHEAP Program Manager
Location: In Person at our Delaware location (260 Chapman Rd, Suite 103 Newark, DE 19702) with hybrid remote schedule as determined by supervisor

Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people conserve energy and promote a sustainable and socially equitable energy future for all. Since 1984, ECA has led the design and implementation of high-quality energy conservation, education, and home repair initiatives to eliminate energy burden and stabilize low-income families in their homes and communities.
Position Summary:
The Delaware LIHEAP Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the DE LIHEAP team in ensuring the department's administrative program functions are handled quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include timely response to Department Manager’s requests while exhibiting professionalism and excellent customer service. The Program Coordinator follows approved organizational and filing systems in accordance with compliance and manager requirements. The Program Coordinator supports program staff as needed and must be a team player. They may be asked to support in additional tasks as required.
· Oversee the general administrative program functions and activities of the department.
· Direct program activities to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
· Work closely with Department Manager, to ensure we are on time with deliverable of the DEAP contract.
· Assist Department Manager with DEAP quarterly report and other items required by contract.
· Identify potential outreach sites and maintain outreach spreadsheet.
· Maintain Department Manager’s Calendar to ensure we have representation during required State and company meetings. Be prepared for meetings in case you need to be the proxy.
· Run reports from Assist (DE State Database) as required by Department Manager.
· Prepare flyer/brochures as required by Department Manager.
· Attend meetings with DHSS as required.
· Retrieve undeliverable mail from DHSS as needed.
· And all other duties as required to ensure an efficient department.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong client services and communication skills
· Knowledge of low-income communities across Delaware preferred.
· At least 4 years’ experience in social service, preferably in the energy services field
· Professional written and verbal business communication skills.
· Experience working with databases, excel spreadsheet, and word document on the computer.
· People skills such as coaching, training, and motivation
· H.S. degree required; some college/bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
· A safe driving record and personal insured automobile (mileage paid for any travel outside of regular commute to work) if you live in DE, share company vehicle if you live in Philadelphia.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience with system upgrades and migrations

Pay: From $45,760.00 per year
