The Whaler's Inn, a 55 room boutique hotel in the heart of Downtown Mystic, is hiring for Housekeepers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor and passion for providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position.
We are looking for an experienced person to join our team as a Housekeeper. This position would ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, common spaces and assist in the laundry department as necessary. Come be part of the best team in Mystic!
Housekeeping Responsibilities include:
Keeping all guest-rooms and common spaces clean and tidy
Clean bedding and linens in guest-rooms
Vacuuming and trash removal
Basic upkeep for furnishings and fixtures
Laundry - wash and fold
Job requirements include:
Superior customer service skills
Able to work weekends and holidays
Flexible schedule with reliable transportation
Friendly and professional tone/demeanor
Acute attention to detail
Ability to take initiative, work independently and/or work as a team
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to climb stairs
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
