Responsibilities
- Lead banquet service teams to deliver flawless event execution, ensuring all guest needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Coordinate with event planners, catering staff, and culinary teams to ensure timely setup, food presentation, and service flow
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Oversee food handling procedures to guarantee safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, replenishing supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the event
- Support the team in food preparation tasks when needed to enhance overall service efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry with a strong background in banquet service or catering environments
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest services and foster positive guest relations
- Previous banquet experience or hospitality background is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations and company policies
- Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude to anticipate guest needs
