Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in both residential and commercial settings. This role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and inviting for clients and guests.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to maintain the appearance and longevity of various flooring types.
- Manage housekeeping operations efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide custodial services in commercial environments, adhering to safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation as needed, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining both public and employee-only areas, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning sessions.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.
- Timely attendance and strong communication skills to relay information effectively to various departments.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly to complete tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or prolonged standing.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety procedures in a cleaning environment.
