ARO is looking to hire an experienced and highly organized Document Scanning and Imaging Manager to lead our digital conversion and records management team in the Newton, PA area.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the document imaging workflow, including planning, execution, quality control, technology management, and personnel leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing high-volume scanning processes, implementing robust quality assurance programs, and managing a team of scanning and imaging clerks.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Scanning and Imaging Clerks. Conduct performance reviews and manage scheduling, workload distribution, and disciplinary actions.
- Workflow Optimization: Analyze, develop, and implement efficient, scalable, and standardized document preparation, scanning, indexing, and quality control procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase scanning throughput, reduce errors, and minimize document handling costs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in records management, document imaging, or a high-volume clerical operations environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Intermediate knowledge of high-speed scanning technology, optical character recognition (OCR), and digital imaging standards (e.g., DPI, TIFF, PDF/A).
- Management Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, coupled with strong project and time management abilities.
- Ability to perform duties typical of an office setting, including extended periods of sitting and screen time.
- Occasional need to lift and move boxes of documents (up to 50 lbs).
