LHH is looking for an Administrative Assistant Jr to support outreach and administrative operations for energy assistance programs. This on-site role in Carneys Point, NJ is ideal for someone with experience in community support, customer service, and administrative coordination who enjoys helping individuals access essential public assistance programs.
What You'll Do:-
Assist applicants with USF and LIHEAP applications and required documentation

Support outreach activities to educate and engage eligible community members

Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route requests appropriately
-
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for outreach staff
-
Prepare basic reports and maintain accurate program records
-
Manage incoming/outgoing mail and maintain office supplies
-
Greet and assist visitors and applicants professionally
-
Support day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth workflow

Collaborate with junior and senior outreach staff and management teams
What You Bring:-
Experience with USF and/or LIHEAP programs (required)

Background in outreach, community support, or public service programs

Administrative and clerical experience in office environments
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

High School Diploma or GED
-
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Empathy and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
-
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (required)

Bilingual skills are a strong plus (not mandatory)
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
