We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and understands that quality maintenance directly impacts comfort, safety, and satisfaction for our residents and their families.
What You’ll Do
Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, you will help maintain and improve our buildings and grounds to ensure they remain safe, functional, and welcoming.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment and facilities in excellent working condition
- Assisting with remodeling projects, floor replacement, wall finishing, and repairs
- Preparing apartments and rooms for move-ins and move-outs
- Inspecting, repairing, or replacing resident and patient equipment
- Supporting residents and families during room changes or moves
- Maintaining walkways, roadways, and outdoor areas, including snow removal and general upkeep
- Completing work orders promptly and professionally, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Helping maintain clean, attractive landscaping and grounds
- Performing other maintenance-related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work well with residents, families, and team members
- Carpentry, remodeling, or general maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade experience preferred (2–3 years ideal), especially in carpentry or remodeling
