American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 recent years of Level 1 cath lab experience and ARRT certification.

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a Level 1 hospital setting
-
Lab performs STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures
-
Uses Phillips imaging equipment, with new Siemens imaging equipment being added in March
-
Documentation completed in Epic; hemodynamic monitoring system is Xper
-
Part time schedule with 4 shifts per week at 10 hours per shift

40 hours per week

Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC) required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
-
Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
-
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
-
2 recent years of Cath Lab experience required
-
ARRT certification required
-
Stepdown/PCU experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required

Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of cardiac patients
-
Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and communicates changes in physician orders
-
Assists physicians with diagnostic procedures and minor treatments
-
Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed
-
Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
-
Delegates tasks to support staff and coordinates with other personnel
-
Educates patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures
-
Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility to be eligible
-
Compliance documentation must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed
-
Candidates must be booked at least 4 weeks prior to the start date to allow time for compliance clearance

Returning workers may only extend a contract once for a maximum of 26 weeks, after which a 6 month separation is required before reapplying
