Camp Nurse (Monday–Friday, Day Shift Only) August 17-21, 2026

Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Camp Nurses to provide high-quality healthcare to campers, couselors and adult volunteers in a fun, supportive camp environment. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working with children and values a predictable daytime schedule with no overnight responsibilities. The Camp Nurse will work with the support of an on-site physician, if needed.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 10 or 12 -hour daytime shifts
- No nights or overnight on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily medical care to campers and staff, including first aid, illness assessment, and medication administration
- Manage and maintain health records, medication logs, and incident reports
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with the on-site physician and local healthcare providers as needed
- Collaborate with the on-site physician regarding medical care, treatment plans, and health concerns
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and camp policies
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper health concerns as appropriate
- Promote a healthy camp environment through education and preventative care
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or camp settings preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with medical support staff
Compensation & Benefits:
